Technical Solutions Engineer
As a Technical Solutions Engineer at RedMimicry, you serve as a technical expert who partners closely with customers throughout their journey, from initial demos and proof-of-value (PoV) projects, through onboarding, to ongoing technical support. You’ll actively collaborate with our development team, translating customer feedback into product improvements and occasionally implementing smaller technical projects. As part of our small, dynamic team, you’ll directly shape the growth of our company, the quality of our product, and our customer experience. Your voice and work will have visible impact and recognition.
What You’ll Do
- Be the technical lead in the sales cycle: Support prospects with technical expertise during PoVs and evaluations.
- Run engaging demos and presentations: Showcase the power of our platform in calls, meetings, and trade fairs.
- Provide implementation guidance: Assist customers with integrating RedMimicry into their infrastructure, tools, and processes.
- Implement atomic technical projects: Stay actively involved with our product and engineering teams, contributing directly to enhancements and customizations based on customer interactions.
- Bridge customers and engineering: Regularly interact with the product and development team, providing customer insights to influence product roadmap and features.
- Be flexible: As a startup, we wear many hats - your input is valued in all areas.

Social / Communication
- Strong communication skills in German and English (written & spoken)
- Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proactive, hands-on mindset and eagerness to take ownership
- Team player who enjoys working in a small, collaborative environment

Technical
- Experience in practical cybersecurity (e.g., as a SOC analyst, red teamer, penetration tester, or threat hunter)
- Familiarity with endpoint security tools (e.g., Windows Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Confident using Linux systems, with basic administration skills
- Comfortable with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash)
- (Bonus) Experience with virtualization, cloud environments, or threat emulation tools

Experience Level
- Ideal candidates typically have at least 2–4 years of relevant professional experience, but enthusiastic early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.
Other Requirements
- Primary residence in Germany
- Clean Criminal Record Certificate
- Willingness to travel to the Berlin office and trade fairs
