RedMimicry + SectorTwo on it-sa: Oct 27 to Oct 29, Booth 9-236

We are building a new capability that turns fragmented, noisy security logs into explainable, AI-powered threat analysis, delivered inside the RedMimicry platform.

As a Working Student at RedMimicry, you will support quality assurance, evaluation, test-data preparation, and technical documentation for our security-telemetry analysis tooling. You will help ensure that ingestion, analysis, reporting, and deployment workflows are tested systematically and documented clearly.

The role is technical and hands-on. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and researchers. Working hours are flexible.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and Maintain Test Cases: Build test cases for ingestion, analysis, reporting, and deployment workflows.
  • Prepare Test Data: Create controlled fixtures, expected outputs, and reproducible test environments.
  • Run Regression and Benchmark Suites: Execute automated and manual tests, compare results, and record regressions.
  • Investigate Failures: Reproduce failed tests and produce precise issue reports with logs, inputs, expected behaviour, and observed behaviour.
  • Validate Outputs and Installation Guides: Check generated reports for correctness and completeness, and follow installation documentation in clean environments to report missing or ambiguous steps.
  • Maintain Technical Documentation: Update test protocols, runbooks, change records, and internal engineering documentation.
  • Contribute Small Automation Tools: Write scripts or test utilities that reduce repetitive manual work.
